Kathryn and Nira-X are captured by Oasis. While Nira-X is experimented on by the Director, Kathryn is locked up with Dragon-Man. The device on Dragon-Man's back keeps his wings in check. Knowing their technology, Kathryn is able to undo the device. Now able to fly, Dragon-Man breaks out of his prison, taking Kathryn and Nira-X with him.
