Dorian continues his spiral down the wrong path. Summers and winters go by but he remains young, although he is now 38 years old. He gets a bad reputation within the elite circle. Everyone who befriends him ends up a social pariah, or even worse dead. He comes across Basil, who wishes to ask about the rumors, and ends up showing him the portrait he had painted all those years ago....
