Homer then meet the neighborhood ghosts including Dugan the bully, Melvin the mixed-up ghost, Invisible Irwin and Zelda the Scatter-Brained Witch. The yet unnamed Ghost Gang gets into mischief before Homer goes back home. Melvin, The Mixed-up Ghost- Melvin's mom sends him out for ice cream but when Melvin doesn't come home Ma and Pa begin to worry. Homer the Happy Ghost- Homer and Dugan are tasked with getting Zelda's magic flying broom from Gobby the Goblin, but they end up making things worse for Zelda. Momma and Poppa Ghost- Momma tries to wake Poppa up so he can get a job and stop bothering her at the haunted house. Invisible Irwin- Irwin has a very good reason for not helping Homer with a simple task. Melvin, The Mixed-up Ghost- Dugan takes Melvin's last dime and leads Melvin down a path that sees him become an accidental bank robber. Snappy The Ghost Dog- Snappy begins his adventures of confounding Dog Catchers. Dugan the Dead-end Ghost- Dugan gives a pep talk to the only ghost he likes, himself.
