The Journey Between
Gopa Village is in ruins. Mehan, Prince of the Mallow Clan, and his companions Gellaze and Iwain (along with the Skink "Sorcerer," Rue) just finished the flight of their lives. Fleeing from a crazed rat's stronghold, our trio of heroes and their new reptilian friend have stumbled on the remains of a once thriving village. Gellaze, enraged, blames the destruction of Gopa on Rue and chases him off into the wilds of the Five Realms.
Iwain, the gentle hearted Samurai-apprentice of Mehan, pursues the frightened Rue and after a tearful exchange with his new friend tells him to seek out the powerful monks that live on the high Mountain.
