Blood of Ten Chiefs 3 and 4 are devoted to the telling of Graywolf and Swiftspear's private hunting. It tells the tale of how Swiftspear became Two-Spear.
Graywolf sneaks back to the human village and claims their pride-token, one of the Wolfriders' wolfears. Swiftspear is healing from a prior incident, but swears vengence. He and Graywolf stalk a human hunting party outside the village after he recovered. The result is a slaughter, and Swiftspear is even able to kill the human who killed his bond-wolf. After the human hunter dies, Swiftspear claims the spear made of human hands and becomes Two-Spear from then onward.
This is a moment where the war between humans & elves has been confirmed, and the elves rise as triumphant inhabitants of their world.
