Desiree experiences her first night in the woods as she begins to change, amazed by the enhanced senses and hunger. Meanwhile, Carnifex wakes after being fed on by a vampire, feeling strange after-effects and deciding to rest. This issue is devoted to following Desiree as she comes to the unhappy conclusion that her transformation is not a bad dream but reality as she completes her transformation.
