Paul Fremont (Blue Bolt) is the son of former superhero Mike Fremont (Captain Thunder) who disappeared amidst a scandal 12 years ago. He has located his father's hideout at Walakima Peak in the Cascade Mountains of Washington where he confronts him about his past and why he abandoned him. Only, after an accident, he leaves with powers much like his father's.
