In "Mr. Miracle," a mysterious man attempts suicide by jumping off of a bridge. His life is saved by a passerby who brings him to the nearby lab of Professor Rietz. The professor uses his mind ray to heal the man. Before the unknown man can awake, Rietz's assistant Sango shoots the professor and steals the plans for the mind ray. When the man wakes, Rietz tells him he has been transformed and by saying the word, "disappear," he'll transform into Mr. Miracle. With his final dying wish, the professor asks the man to stop Sango from selling the plans.
