Captain Atom - The Strings of Punch & Jewlee (Dave Kaler - Steve Ditko - Rocco Mastroserio - Herb Field) Punch and Jewlee kidnap scientist and during the kidnapping of Lewis Coll the find a very weakened Captain Atom. They take him back to their lair and plan to steal his mind. Nightshade shows up however and the two of them stop Punch and Jewlee. Unfortunately Jewlee gets away.Blue Beetle: Blue Beetle stops a hijacking of a plan by a spy and then stops his escape in a submarine. The submarine hits a rock and sinks to the ocean floor. Likely killing all on board. Blue Beetle fights a giant octopus before he is able to escape in his bug ship.
